My Name

            My name is faisa فإزأ  .Its usual spelled faiza in the somaila/arabic culture but my mother changed the z into an s. Its means winner or succesful woman or the generous one. I do like my name because of the meaning and also because it short & simple. My grandmother was supposed to name me but my mother hated the name. My name is from the middle east thats way there a few faisa's or faiza's that I have ever met.Im also named after the Princess of  Egypt Faaiza which is very special.
           I wouldn't change my name for the world because I feel like the meaning of my name is me because im very generous and i wanna be a sucessful woman and a winner too.My name is not in the quran but i wish it was it would be an honor for it to be in the holy book.In my family all the girls start with f's and it's easy to find names that start with f.

Social Norms

          My social norms in my immediate community are that woman only clean/cook and guys work for example my family, my mother stays home and cleans sometimes  and then my dad goes to work for the day and my brothers dont clean unless there ask to which is rare.I dont know how to cook but my dad yell at us to learn how to cook everyday.Me and my older sister always have to clean but i refused sometimes because it really not fair to me or  my sister that were the only people cleaning in the house .It really does not influence me because when i have kids there gonna clean girl or boy maybe not cook.Now my mother makes my younger brothers clean sometimes but they still dont know how to clean/cook but there lazy.I dont like to clean but i have too. When i go to one of my mom's friends house I always see the girls doing everything and the boys siting there doing nothing same with the mom and dad. Its the same with my friends too all of there familys have the same system girls clean/cook and boys sit and do nothing. I dont believe that girls should be the only one cleaning and cooking its not fair nor right.
